Pump and Fuel Management Options
With the price of road diesel soaring the most cost efficient way of purchasing fuel for companies with large numbers of vehicles is to bulk buy from the oil companies.

The problem then occurs that the company has in excess of €40,000 Euros of fuel in the tank on site Fuel management in essence is a means to account for every litre in your storage tank. Kingspan GSP supply integrated diesel dispensing pumps and fuel management systems to meet this need.
When each driver brings his vehicle to the pump he will be asked to input the following information before fuel is dispensed
- Insert Vehicle Tag
- Type User Number
- Enter Vehicle Mileage
Once the previous information is entered correctly the driver dispenses fuel and goes about his business. The information entered is then used by management to allocate fuel to each vehicle or driver. The mileage input enables management to get an accurate MPG or Ltrs/100KM figure for each vehicle in the fleet. This enables management to run reports by vehicle type to see which vehicle is most cost effective to run over the life of the vehicle.
There is also an exception report facility which would enable management to only view vehicles drawing excessive fuel or running below a predetermined MPG figure. The system is capable of connecting to your existing tank gauging system and automatically taking a reading every day to enable accurate monthly stock reconciliation.
